So, who is Puge Simmons? From the writing of this page of the album it is believed that 'Puge' refers to Leonard F. Simmons. The writing here reads:
"Puge Simmons was mentioned as "Old Man Simmons" or sometimes as "Puge". He was no relation (to the Perryman's) as far as we know. I think he was a friend (probably a Civil War friend of Harley,…

Status: Not yet located. The date is unknown and can not read the enscriptions on the trophies. However, believe these are trophies won in the Michigan State Bowling Tournamens of the late 1950's or early 1960's.

On 26 Jan 2008 photo was identified as Hilda Johnson by her Great-Granddaughter Joan Beeman.

Status: Not yet located. These boats were used by Oscar Simmons and his son Willard to fish for the clams of the Grand River at Saranac in Ionia County.

Status: Not yet located. Oscar & family were quite the fishermen and fished for clams in the Grand River near the Saranac Grand River bridge (background), Michigan to sell the shells to a local factory that made clothes buttons with the shells.
Johanna Beeman has identified the fisherman on top of the clam shell pile as Charles Edward Beeman brother of Elnora (Beeman)…

Status: Not yet located. Obviously, Oscar standing with his son Willard and daughter Jessie, were quite proud of this catch! As Oscar took the time to record this particular clam catch. The bridge over the Grand River in the background is located in Saranac, Michigan.
