 | 'Puge' Simmons So, who is Puge Simmons? From the writing of this page of the album it is believed that 'Puge' refers to Leonard F. Simmons. The writing here reads:
"Puge Simmons was mentioned as "Old Man Simmons" or sometimes as "Puge". He was no relation (to the Perryman's) as far as we know. I think he was a friend (probably a Civil War friend of Harley, Polly, Thelma and Tuentin's (spelling could be wrong) Grandpa Perryman, Gene's Great Grandpa. Mary Perryman is Gene's cousin(1st cousin) she lives in Marion, Indiana. |
